Dr. Dave joins Rich to discuss Generations by William Strauss and Neil Howe. After initially describing the research method, Dr. Dave and Rich do a highlight edition of each American generation.

The four personality types of American generations: Idealist, Reactive, Civic, Adaptive

Idealist (dominant) – Coming of age during a spiritual awakening

Reactive (recessive) – Independent problem solvers

Civic (dominant) – Structure builders of the country, forced to solve a secular crisis

Adaptive (recessive) – Fill out the structure that Civic generation creates
